After abandoning the clay of the Brera drills, the artist’s choice fell on plasticine, a formable material that allows to achieve efficiency in modeling and quality in the realization of surfaces.
Starting from modeling in plasticine Orazio Bobbi gave life to the models and, later, to the sculptures.
These, once formed in plaster could be sent to the artistic foundries for the bronze molding.
Most of the sculptures realized by Orazio Bobbi were made of bronze, some other sculptures were made of resin and others were completed in plaster.
